Ideal Zebra Danio Conditions
- Although the zebra danio is not a very colorful tropical freshwater fish it is very easy to care for and thus a popular fish to start a new aquarium with.
Appearance
- They have fairly dark blueish and golden stripes that run from the head to the tail horizontally over the body even over their fins.
Strata
- They prefer to stay in the middle and especially the top regions of a fish tank.

- They are peaceful schooling fish which makes them ideal for a community aquarium setup either with other schooling fish or with pairs and individuals.
